Using Lantus to get big without big worries to your health
As per my last instalment on Lantus which you can find HERE , Lantus is a long acting version of insulin that takes about an hour to work and lasts for about 24-36 hours. In the previous article I spoke about using high doses of Lantus for very short periods of time (1-2 days per week) to bring up a lagging body part via the many nutrient uptake and appetite stimulating pathways insulin use offers. Today, I’d like to discuss another mechanism of action we can benefit from the use of Lantus which is seen as a result of the drug’s chronic use. By chronic, I mean daily use for a period of 2-3 months plus. If we’re going to be using Lantus everyday, the dose recommended for most folks is a lot less than discussed in the previous article. Right off the bat, I’m going to recommend doses of 10-25 iu per day of Lantus, administered once per day upon awakening. But how and why does this work? Well, in order to explain how and why, we’re going to have to forget about Lantus for just a moment and focus on Growth Hormone (GH).
It is an age old idea among the forums around the globe that in order for HGH use to be worth the money, you need to use it for a long period of time and also that it will take about 6 weeks to see appreciable rises in IGF-1 levels (IGF-1 being the main driver of muscle growth from the use of HGH). This is both true and untrue. Actually, just hours after your first injection of HGH, IGF-1 levels will sky rocket, but you will unlikely be able to catch it on a blood test. That is because the IGF-1 does not yet have a parent to keep it in the house to do it’s chores. That parent is Insulin-like growth factor binding proteins (IGFBPs). IGFBPs are a group of secreted proteins which serve as transport proteins for insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) with high affinity, regulating the bioavailability and function of IGFs. For the lay person reading, what that formal definition means to you is that in order for the IGF-1 (from your HGH use) to stick around long enough where it needs to be to gain some muscle, you will need enough IGFBP’s to contain it. It is the Insulin-like growth factor binding proteins that take a number of weeks to build up to appreciable levels after the commencement of HGH use. There is plenty of HGH and IGF-1 right off the get go. There’s even more to this complicated cha cha slide, but y’all gon learn today about IGFBP’s and that will be enough education to flex and make use of.
We have established then that we need sufficient GH for IGF-1 levels and sufficient IGFBP’s in order for IGF-1 to be bioavailable for tissue growth, so where does Lantus come in to all this? You may have guessed it. Lantus is the insulin to help drive up Insulin-like growth factor binding proteins. This occurs fast; immediately even. With the use of daily Lantus, no longer does one have to wait a number of weeks for their HGH use to start showing up in the Instagram selfie. The good news is that relatively low doses of this version of insulin are required to drive up IGFBP’s and so the safety profile is excellent. I suggest starting out at 10 iu per day and not exceeding 25 iu per day for this purpose. Please note, we are not concerning ourselves with blood glucose and other use cases for insulin in this context. There are athletes who utilise both Lantus and shorter acting versions of insulin in the same day/week to capitalise on the variety of functions insulin has for muscle growth and fat loss. For today, we are only focusing on IGFBP’s.
It is simple really. Inject Lantus and HGH once per day with your anabolic steroid stack and watch growth occur before your eyes. One will notice that he/she will now require less anabolics in order to yield the same muscle hypertrophy benefits. This is a great solution for those who do not enjoy the androgen related side effects associated with anabolic steroid use—with a special notion to women. Yes, you heard me right. Women. If I was a betting man, I would bet that a woman could make equal (or even superior) gains from the use HGH, insulin and low dose clenbuterol than she would using low dose anabolic steroids. That is however, a story for another day.
Before you ask it, my last mention is that there are absolutely other ways to drive up IGF-1 and GH without the use of exogenous HGH. Some cannot afford it. Some cannot access it. Some people’s bodies do not agree with the drug altogether. That’s okay. That’s fine. I have previously discussed about the heterogeneity (difference from person to person) with notion to drug response and HGH is no different. Some people will see enormous benefits from the use of GH secretagogues like GHRP-6/2/Ipamorelin and IGF-1 LR3 for the same goals discussed in this post. Some people use a combination of lower doses of HGH in combination with GH secretagogues and IGF-1 peptides. There’s no one size fits all approach. It’s a trial and error process until you reach higher goals of mass. When we’re talking true big boy status, GH secretagogues are not going to compare to exogenous HGH. For those playing with 2-4 iu of HGH per day however, there is a chance GH secretagogues work just as effectively, if not better. Compared to 6-10 iu of HGH? No, ain’t going to happen. I hope this information helps you consider yet another use case of the wonderful and cost effective drug, Lantus.
I hope this helps! Any specific questions related to this post do not hesitate to ask in the comments section below or email us at [email protected]
